LAST CALL. Final batch of TFL shirts. Order Now.

By massive demand (and I really mean massive, you should see my In Box) I’m going to do one last run of TFL shirts. I will probably continue making Molon Labe items as these are popular on lots of gun boards, but this batch is just for TFL.

I’ll take orders until TFL closes its doors, then I’m going to crank these out as fast as I can, but please keep in mind that I’m doing this on short notice. I’m not going to offer any special orders this time. I’m also limiting the options to the dark colors. All items will be screen printed. There is no embroidery this time around.

The art will be on the front only. It will be the TFL logo. Underneath will be either TFL Alumni OR 1998 – 2002. Please vote on this thread which one you prefer. When the deadline draws near I will utilize whichever one got more votes.

Shirts

Black, Navy, or Spruce(green) (please specify)
S, M, L, XL $13.00 Long Sleeve $17.00
2X $15.00 Long Sleeve $18.00
3X $16.00 Long Sleeve $19.00
4X $17.00 (4X not availible in green)

Golf Shirts

Black, Forest Green or Navy
S, M, L, XL $23.00
2X $25.00
3X $26.00

Sweat Shirts

Black, Forest Green or Navy

2X $27.00
3X $28.00

Jackets

2X $47
3X $50
4X $54

Add $5.00 for Tall version. (These are longer, please specify if you want a tall version in your order)

I also have a pile of Molon Labe hats on hand if anybody wants one. These are just the standard embroidered hats, same as the other batches.

MOLON LABE hats
Specify Tan, Black, Green, or Light Weight Khaki
$12.00

Pictures:

www.madogre.com/Correias_Corner/TFL_SWAG.htm

Sorry, I do not have any pictures of what these shirts will look like because they do not exist yet.

Shipping and Handling. $4.50 for the first item. $1.00 per each additional item.

I will take checks or money orders made out to Larry Correia. My mailing address is:

Larry Correia
9300 South Redwood Rd.
#15-20
West Jordan, UT. 84088

Or you can send payment to my www.paypal.com account at [email protected]
That is S, L, G, 2, Q, Correia.

Please do not forget S&H, and specify exactly what you want so as to avoid confusion. Please give me a way to contact you in case of any problems. Preferably E-mail.

Please post on this thread when you order. If you have an opinion on what art you want, please vote on this thread.

For you procrastinators, this is it.

To everybody who I have had the pleasure of dealing with on TFL for the last 4 years, Thank You. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. TFLers are some of the best people I have ever known. I met some of my very best friends through this board. I have learned tons. I have become a better supporter of the RKBA. I’ve gained a better education about Freedom and the Constitution. I think that I learned far more about those issues from the debates on this board then I ever did in school.

Believe it or not, I’ve actually become a better shooter as well.

I was the 105th person to join TFL. In that time I have graduated college, had two kids, gotten a real job, bought a few guns, shot in a few matches, and had lots of fun. Now we have 18,000 people. Wow. Time flies.

I started making shirts for TFL when there was under 1,000 people on this board. I did it because nobody else wanted to. Go figure. Since then I have made hundreds and hundreds of them. Most of the time I even managed to get them right.

I got to represent TFL in the WC3gun match. Thanks to my teammates of Team TFL. I would proudly shoot alongside any of you on any day.

Thanks to Rich and the moderators. You guys have put out one impressive amount of work. And have put up with endless hours of frustration. I got to meet many of you in person, and even got to shoot alongside some of you. Rich, Denny, Rob, Scott, John, George. They are all good guys in person, not just on the net.

Thanks to all of the wonderful members. I’ve met many of you in person, and for that I’m glad, as that is how I made some of my best friends. I’ve corresponded with lots of you, and I look forward to meeting more of you in the future. I hope to do a lot of shooting with other TFL alumni in the future.

It has been an honor to work with you.

One long-sleeve tee, my vote is for "TFL Alumnus".

Oh, and it should be black, as I'm in mourning.

"One long-sleeve tee, my vote is for "TFL Alumnus"."

Tamara has a good idea there, hope you can run with it. I'd buy one, maybe two.

So Alumnus is correct, not Alumni? I will edit my original post to reflect that.

Heck I'm a Utah State Alumnus. But when they bug me for money they always say I'm an Alumni.

Roger that. After all, I am an accountant in real life.

I believe that I know all the moderators by their real names, but it would be helpful if they identified themselves in thier orders. I'll take care of it for you.

Hey, Rich. I meant what I said above. TFL rocks. You did a great thing here. Don't ever forget it.

FYI,

Alumnus and alumna both come from Latin and preserve Latin plurals. Alumnus is a masculine noun whose plural is alumni, and alumna is a feminine noun whose plural is alumnae. Coeducational institutions usually use alumni for graduates of both sexes.

I like "TFL Alumni." I'll order soon. Mike

Correia - why not combine both titles and have a shirt reading "TFL Alumni" on one line, and then "1998-2002" on the second line? That way we get the best of both worlds.

I'll definitely be ordering, just as soon as I make up my mind!

I thought about it Preacherman, but currently I don't know if that will all fit, and still look good. I think it might be pushing the limits, and unfortunatly there ain't much time for trial and error.

So Alumni is correct? I'll reedit the first post.

Pay pal sent:
2 - 3X Golf shirts (1 navy, 1 green)
2 - Hats (1 black, 1 green)

If you can have only one I vote for alumni. Both would be great. If it is close to fitting both but not quite then maybe drop the TFL from TFL Alumni as there will be the TFL logo right above it.

Thanks for doing this over the years.

No Larry, Alumnus is the correct singular form - Alumni is plural. I'd say a single person claiming TFL membership should be Alumnus. All of us together are the TFL Alumni. Either should work on the shirt, but it'll change the meaning as to which the line represents...

I think Alumni works better for me as it represents all of us at TLF and not just my solo status here. I didn't make TFL great - it was everyone together.

By the way - I'll be scraping together some $$$ wrong time of year to do it, lol. What's the deadline?

Check's in the mail.

Hm - "98-02 Alumni"?

OK, Correia, whatever works, but if we can't have both lines, then I vote for "TFL Alumni". I agree with yorec that it conveys the sense of community and family better than the singular "alumnus" would. Also, can you PLEASE try to put a nice smilie on there, from our regular posting selection, just to convey the fun we've had together? My vote goes to this one: . (It could go on the back...???)

Thanks again. I'll place my order soon.

Hey Larry:
Sorry 'bout all the confusion from my earlier emails to ya. Hope you're clear on the order, address, etc. And of course, I forgot to vote.
(It's true: I am an idjit)

Anyway: my vote goes for "TFL Alumnus," although yorec makes a good point re alumnus = singular (each of us) vs alumni = plural (all of us).
However the votes go, ultimately, is fine.
Thanks again.
