I had a similar experience with a 12 guage that I will not describe due to my stupidity at the time.

That would make for a bad day. Hogdogs, to answer your question you had in the other thread as to whether the balloons/tape over end of barrel would be dangerous, 'no' its not . That tactic has been used for years especially in damp rainy weather to keep moisture/debris out of barrel.
