Hint - this post has been moved to the Pistol Forum.
Addendum: The Steyr SPP (Special Purpose Pistol) is the Semi-auto version of their excellent TMP (Tactical Machine Pistol) which can be found under the "Public Security" index entry at: CLIK HERE [This message has been edited by Mykl (edited June 14, 2000).] |

Its a neat looking gun, looks like a wacky Mac 10. Came in 9mm and while it was a good gun- it never really took off, and about a year ago Small Arms Review did a write up on them and it brought the value up from around $800 NIB, too about $1200. They can still be found for less though NIB. It is based off the TMP like Mykl said, the main visual difference is the forward "K" Grip on the TMP (looks great)- the SPP doesn't have this feature.
If I was looking for an advanced military handgun- I would get an Uzi pistol in 9mm. [This message has been edited by JG (edited June 14, 2000).] |
