Here's another weird one, that's "kinda-sorta" a revolver; a Josselyn chain pistol, patented in 1866.

Those are definitely some funky looking revolvers.

My thanks to SDC for filling in the velodog background.

While not strictly a revolver, these palm-pressure guns are another "wierd" gun that many folks have never seen.

But truly, the most hideously ugly handgun ever produced was the WW-II single-shot called the Liberator.

WW-II Liberator Single-shot pistol, .45ACP
These were intended to be dropped behind Nazi lines in France for use by the underground. It came in a cardboard box with pictorial directions and was intended to provide a gun with which you could kill a German soldier then obtain his (much better!) weapon(s). It also holds the dubious honor of being the only gun that takes longer to reload than it did to assemble. (GM could assemble a liberator pistol in approximately 10-15 seconds). The gun held several cartridges in the butt behind a sliding plate.

The Liberator actually looks sort of neat, in a "built strictly for business" kind of way; my vote for ugliest handgun ever goes to the Japanese Type 94. In addition to being an eyesore, it was inherently unsafe, because of an exposed trigger-bar that could fire the pistol just by holstering it.

That Blade Runner replica is pretty sweet I've got to say. I usually don't like things like that, but that kinda does it for me for some reason.
