THR Info
As many of you know, I host THR out of my house and live in Jacksonville, FL. Frances missed me by about 168 miles, but still managed to snap a couple of power poles in my neighborhood.
THR is still without power. The good news is that there are finally a couple of trucks working on the damage; the bad news is that it's a lot of damage so it might not be done tonight. I'll bring it up as soon as possible. Cross your fingers on Ivan...

THR may be down, but...
I'm glad to hear you and yours are alright. Stay safe if you get whopped again!

Tthanks for the update, glad you and yours are OK. A pox on Ivan, may he soon be reduced to the force and significance of a firefly fart. Stay safe. All in good time

Derek, good to hear that everyone's OK. Thanks for the update.
I've got an 8k generator sitting here unused. Had we known, I could have shipped it out to you.

Thanks for the update Derek. While I am eager for my favorite forum to go back on line, you must have more important things to worry about. Ivan is sitting at Cat. 5 now....yeesh. If it doesn't lose strength, it's going to be a world of hurt for somewhere in the Gulf region.

Thanks for the update. Good to know that you and yours all are safe, even though The High Road is without "illumination" so to speak.
Hurricanes...one reason I no longer live/work in the Charleston, SC area. Riding out Hugo in 1989 was enough for me.

Thanks Derek. We're sort of having a reunion here for now. It's pretty cool that these two sites compliment each other.

I'll be around.
Nice to meet you, Mr. Zeanah. I hope this is the worst problem you have for a long time.
I appreciate the High Road, if that weren't already clear.

We're back up
This was the source of the problem. From 168 miles, when Frances was a category 1. Crossing my fingers on Ivan.

Glad to hear from you, Derek. Stay safe and stay dry. Hopefully Ivan will go away. You people down there don't really need another 'cane.
