Does this mean that I no longer need to drag my knuckles?

Yep.

You can now "stand upright" hold your head up and be proud to a Firearm owner.

You will also find out the advantages of shooting with 2 hands instead of always having to drag a knuckle with one hand. Kinda neat to stand up and shoot.

Something as important as THR should be inside Cheyenne mountain...
I thought THR was actually run by W.O.P.P.E.R.! "How about a nice game of chess?" "GLOBAL THERMO NUCLEAR WAR"

Laying prone ain't bad either.. LOL!

Speaking of THR, I'm starting to get the shakes..

[Actually, if a certain flashlight, from a certain THR member showed up in my mail box right about now, it would go a long way in helping my with THR withdrawls.. Somehow, I don't think that is going to happen.]

Okay, THR has been down, by my count, at least 48 hours, if not more.

Is the THR server in hurricane-ravaged Florida? Do they keep a stupid fluffy cat that sheds lots of cat-hair near the server?

Any status?

Well, c'mon WA, let's get it moving. Don't forget to hammer the Colt rep. while you're at it.

My neighbors are getting tired of me standing on my porch calling 'here horsey...here little horsey...' whilst gazing forlornly northwards...

there was a message at www.thehighroad.org last night that said the power was out for the whole area and the message was being sent from a laptop running on backup power

i gather that battery has now run out of juice

Inbound....10 M4s (all spoken for), 10-20 more in 3 weeks(?), I expect pistolas any day, they treat me good

Maybe I should do a group buy for THR exiles...

Odd that I never buy anything at "home" and then spend a little bit of time over at FalFiles and end up with a refurb Fal kit on the way and Aimpoint clone! Now I've got to get that receiver and screw the thing together and then poke some holes in paper... Jeez THR better come up soon or I'll be broke pawing through new candy stores.

Can I take shelter with you guys?

Man, THR is pretty much the only site I visit regularly on the web, and the source for a lot of my other surfing ideas...

Arghhhh....

I'd imagine the status is: as soon as power is back on, THR will be back up.

Update on THR - 09/08/04, ~9:45 pm

spoke the Zeanah's tonight, they say that they are alright. and that they and their whole neighborhood is out of power because a power pole snapped into mulitple pieces. they managed to talk to someone today who said it may be as late as monday before power might be restored.

(my comments)
there are still large sections of the city without power, due to downed lines, trees, and poles, and the power company say's they are working as fast as they can to restore power. there is no telling when power may be restored to that area, so just keep checking.

So how many people are going to be curled up a ball talking to themselfs because THR will be down for that long? It's nice to see so many familer people over here. It's like taking a vacation and seeing all of your friends around you. It's hard to get used to a new place.....well it's time for bed because I can't think very well right now... It's good to see all of you and nice to meet all the people from TFL.
