What do you mean mess up the first week of dove season? Think of how much more you are out hunting intead of typing. This storm was an angel in disguise. Now get out and shoot more.

Plus, I brought brownies for everyone.

Aargh. Suffering from major THR withdrawal.

Been checking out ARF.com lately - lots of misinformation there in some posts. Good Lord, I miss "Rifle Country."

RE: Derek

I was concerned how Derek and family were doing.
Still Derek and family have a lot to concern themselves with getting back to "normal".

Yes - I caught myself in midst of a email to Derek to see if he and his were okay - duh- besides not having power, he has other matters to keep himself busy.

Derek - some of just wanted you to know, we were thinking of you and yours.

more to responsible firearm ownership - than guns - People for instance.

We have TFL , and other Forums....We only have one Derek and family.

Yeah, I am concerned too...

But I am more concerned with what everyone is doing to prepare for the end of the AWB!

I ordered some mags from www.fourfourmag.com, maybe I should have ordered 10 G17 mags and sold them at the gun show that weekend... special blowout sale, only $35!

There might be more THR withdrawal in the future... Ivan's been upgraded to a cat 5 storm now... Florida's really taking a beating this year.

BTDT & got TS- life goes on. I don't miss the "hall monitor on crack" atmosphere that occasionally permeated the place. I believe TFL was the first "non brand/type specific" gun discussion board I joined, and I still like it the best. Folks are a lot less thin-skinned over here, and I personally was real glad to see TFL back up & running.

I hope Zenah and company are OK; I have a son in Ocala, so I understand what they're going through. God bless them all.

Good bunch of folks at THR... glad to see y'all over here.

Heya folks. Sorry to hear about Derek's troubles in Florida; I hope the next coming storm doesn't hit or add to the damage! I've been looking for a temporary abode and it looks like TFL is it.
