S&W99 in .45
Checked the archives on this but didn't see anything; I saw an add in this month's NRA magazine advertsing this new model with a polymer frame in .45 caliber.
Any news on this model, good or bad? |

For anyone who hasnt seen the ad, I posted it on the Walther forum last week. I believe there is some info on the S&W site now too.

I asked Carl Walther this very question last week, and got the following as the reply:

Are the SW's really THAT much worse than true Walthers? I've never owned a SW99, just a P99, but I've shot my buddy's SW99 and it didn't seem that bad.

Dr. Lunde, I guess that means I'll be buying my next 45 sooner rather than later? Also, what do you think of the SW99 in 45acp?

I'll have to check it out. Although, I'm not trading in my P99 in favor of it!! Thanks for the info Dr Lunde.
