Commie Gun Collection
Most of these are surplus, only the Russian double-stack Mak on the lower right and the FEG SMC-918 middle-right are commercial models.

The hard-chromed CZ52 was done by Classic Arms, based out of here in North Carolina. I bought it about 2 years ago. It has a few issues with sliding pins that have been largely rectified by Classic Arms. This appears to be due to the much smoother finish of the hard chrome. They only do one or two runs of these per year, but according to their website they do have some available now, as well as chromed Polish P-64's, and Pa-63's with the slides chromed to match the aluminum frames.

East vs West
An unfired as-new 1986 Walther P-1 with Mil-Tec German holster. A 1964 E. German Mak, very light usage, and rain pattern holster. Interesting cold war opponents set and not very expensive to procure at the time I got them. Setting in the safe, gaining value but what fun is that? I see the p1's now are recycled and rebuilt. So I do expect some gain for MIB with papers specimens. And the Mak has gone up regardless. Maybe when I am 90, (and guns are still legal) this set might pay off well, but maybe I won't care by then!
