Considering the PS90

I am about to purchase a PS90 but I can't decide if I want to get the trirail or the one with the optics. The problem with the trirail is I'm looking at spending an additional 2-5 hundred on a decent optic, but on the other hand I heard that the version with the optic has a terrible... well optic on it. Anyone with experience to share would be appreciated.

I had the TR model when they first came out and really liked it. I like the TR models because they put the red dot (whatever you use....I had a C-More on mine) lower than the optics models. Great fun little guns, I really miss mine. Check out www.fnforum.net for some good FN info.

I forgot to mention I have also seen several USG models and am curious about the optics on it

I used to own a couple of PS90's, definitely my fav pistol-caliber carbine. I'd go w/the USG version and if you don't like it, sell the optic to fund the optic of your choice (I'd go w/the TROS ultralow Aimpoint mount an an Aimpoint C3 or ML3, the mount can be seen at www.trosusa.com).
