Springfield Armory's new XD line of handguns!

Wow, these guns are nice looking, gander mountain handgun of the year. NRA handgun of the year. does anyone own one of these if so, how do you like them. The only downside is that they don't come in .45. Is springfield going to bring out a .45 version does anyone know?

I read somewhere that the .45 XD is in the works... and I believe the Special Edition Rob Leatham XD will be chambered in .45acp... Might be mistaken though.

The current XD 45 is GAP, not ACP.

They are really good guns and compare favorably to other striker fired pistols. They are worth a look.

I have 2 XD's an XD9 Tactical and a XD9 Sub Compact. I have about 1500 rounds thru both of them and both have been 100% with all ammo tried, ball and Hp's. Both are very accurate, being a long time 1911 shooter, I like the grip safety and the grip angle, Very Familar. All steel mags and very well built and fun to shoot. They get an A+ rating from me.
