Is there any way to convince the aftermarket parts makers to sell a magazine well adaptor for the Mini-14? One that takes USGI M16 magazines.
The Isrealis have such a device for the Galil. |

Write a letter to some of the manufacturers and see what type of responses you get.
I wonder how hard it would be to fabricate one from scratch? I would think that someone such as a machinist or fabricator could make one. kgs.

It's not the use of USGI mags that is the most important thing. It's getting away from the rock-back locking system of magazine seating. The M16 method is superior.
What a company needs to do is make an aftermarket stock that comes with an M16 magwell. |
