How about the power of a .22 Picture thread.....

Don't see a lot of .22's in the growing picture thread, so how about one just devoted to the "mighty" .22 pistols. Heck, throw in a rifle if you wish, gotta be lots of 10/22's all spiced up. I'll start with my only two remaining .22 pistols......................ck

Ruger Mark 111 with red dot.

S&W 6", 10 round 617

.22s

Very pretty. I really like those Rugers, mine is blued though. My other 22 is a Buckmark, both good shooters.

I don't take good pictures with this old camera but these are a couple of my 22's.

It's been a while since I posted any pics to anywhere, but here's my small .22 collection. Needless to say, I'm kind of a Ruger fan (they have a factory not far from here). Top to bottom, residing in their natural habitat, 10/22, Single Six, 22/45 MK III. Yes, this is a picture from my local range, back in September.

Yep, this guy developed them himself. I've not tryed them, but others say that they are quite good. And yes, the 617 is a very accurate shooter and reliable as well......................ck

My all time favorite .22, the Beretta Model 70S. It received the Metalife treatment many years ago when I started to have problems with the factory blued finish. As durable as stainless, is impervious to any holster wear or marks, and really just looks great.

Another favorite, the Ruger Mk. II 5 1/2 bull barrel, though I love this one for both it's looks and for it's performance.

Didn't want you all to be under the impression that I couldn't appreciate a fine .22 revolver, like this great little Single Six.
