Show your scoped handguns.

I started this as a new thread because older threads start loading real slow, and using lots of bandwidth, when they get a lot of photographs in them Tex45acp wanted to see my 41 when I got a scope on it, so, here goes.

It is a Simmons 30mm. Your basic all around red dot. It has a one year replacement guarrantee from Dicks Sporting Goods. Best - Ted

Scoped Taurus guns...

Here is what I have pics of.

Taurus M66 7shot with B-Square mount and BSA pistol scope.

I have a Simmons ProHunter on my 454 Raging Bull.

I have another BSA 2x20 on my Ruger Blackhawk 357mag

And I have a 2x simmons on my Ruger Redhawk 45lc. (not currently installed)

I have found that either Leupold or B-Square rings work best for the money. Weaver scope rings suck.

If it worked properly, I uploaded a photo of my 500 PC Hunter .500 S&W Mag, 6 1/2" barrel, Weaver 2x scope in Warne QD mounts.
File size is too big. Didn't work.

Posting pictures is easy. Just click the yellow photo icon on the menu bar of the reply to thread page, and insert the link. Or, you can just type [img]past link here[img] and you are done. Easy to do. Best -

"Tex45acp wanted to see my 41 when I got a scope on it, so, here goes."

Ted,

I just new that would look great on that gun, and I was not disappointed!!! WOW what a great looking setup. I have a red dot scope, sitting in a box, that I have contemplated mounting it on my Browning Buck Mark Target .22 for hunting squirrels and small game like that. Since the one I have, is the same diameter as my Leupold, I might try it on my Redhawk and see if it will hold up under the recoil. Mine is a BSA and was given as a gift. I don't know much about BSA products so I don't know if it will last.

While BSA's are not the priciest, I have never heard one called cheap or no good. With the advent of the Chinese labor market in the last 10 years, optic quality of all the lower priced brands has gone way up, while the price has gone way down.

The red dot that I have was sighted in with a bore laser, we had two dots, looking throught the scope, to start with, and in a few clicks, they became one dot. Ding! Bore sighted. Best - Ted

Right click your image. Click on "properties". The URL will then be shown. Copy the url. Paste it to the image icon, or past it as we discussed earlier with [img] at either end of the url. It should work just fine. Best -

Ain't I great. I should be a moderator. Here is what you should have pasted, with [img] before and after each end. Best -
