Conventional Warfare...

http://www.wpafb.af.mil/museum/arm/arm8.htm
With all of the recent talk about Nukes, Bio warfare etc, I am wondering are we prepared to slug it out the old fashioned way? With Saddam loosing the mother of all battles 10 years ago, has he gotten stronger? Are we weaker? Will the next fight with him be us just dropping lots of bombs, or will we actually have to go in there and get dirty? Does Saddam actually have the evil weapons that G. Bush flatly states, or is Bush thinking that there is nothing like a good old shoot out to get re elected?

Saddam Hussein learned that it's foolish to fight a set-piece battle against the United States during Desert Storm, which is why he has been attempting to reconstitute his WMD and to acquire nuclear weapons.

The other option is to go "native" like Aidid did and "invite" the US into a confused, clogged urban area, but that's just not an option for Mr. Popularity Iraq.

I have no doubt that we are still the most powerful nation on the planet! Any way they want it, gloves on or off.
