Barrel and mag extension "clamp" and Picatinny Forend

I don't post questions like this unless I can't find it on the web or at the store, so here is the question: Who makes, and where can I find, a "clamp" for my mag extension to "clamp" it to my barrel?

I traded my 870 that had one for an 1100 that doesn't. Something about 6" hanging out under the barrel unsupported, except for the 1" its threaded onto (housing the mag spring no less) that kinda bothers me.

Thanks

p.s. also, has anyone had any luck with this

it is the Choate picatinny forend for an 1100

The best clamp of them all is the Remington factory version.
Unfortunately, this doesn't fit many other extensions, because the factory extension has a groove in the tube that the clamp screw interlocks with to prevent the clamp from moving forward under recoil.

HOWEVER, there's an exact copy, only designed to fit most any extension made by Uncle Mike's.

This is definately the way to go.

www.copsplus.com look under weapon lights they have a light mount listed for the 870 it will work on the 1100. much better than the forearm mount.

the weapon light holder on copsplus looks great, much better mounting than the forend from choate. also, thanks for the clamp link, it looks better than the clamp from ATI (synthetic, and therefore "fatter") but i just need the clamp, the gun has all the slings on it. i'll double check the stores.

thanks again

I think that Uncle Mike's of Oregon makes a clamp that is very similar to the factory clamps and I agree, no clamp = bad idea.
