The Sig Sauer P226 or the Sig P228?

While both are great I really would like to get a P228 if I can find a decent deal.

p226 as long as it has a folded slide, otherwise a p228. No rail please.

The P228 is a compact version of the P226, so its hard to compare them really.

I would pick up the P226 if I was going into harm's way ...but I would rather pick up the P228 for concealed carry.

It's a shame you didn't include the P229. The "wide body" version of the 226. More capacity and easy to shoot.

Uhh, what? The 226 is larger and has more capacity.

Two choices? Really?

Do you prefer a red corvette or a blue one?

There is a significant difference between the P226 and the P228...overall size and magazine capacity.

So a more appropriate analogy would be: do you want a red Dodge Challenger or a blue Dodge Charger.

Both are nice pistols but I like the extra magazine capacity offered by the Model 226.

I voted 226 because my only Sig is an X-5 TAC TB. It says "P226S" on the slide.
