My Diamondback is back from Colt!!!!
I just got my Diamondback back from Colt, What a great feeling to have my first centerfire handgun back in the safe tucked in nice and cozy.
Teddy down by Actions-by-T said it was out of time and needed Colt's help before he would touch it, so off to Colt we go. Now, less then 20 days later it is back. What a great feeling. The bolt comes up right in the center of each cylinder notch and everything locks up just as he showed me it should. Thanks to Teddy for taking the time so I could understand what needed to be fixed. Colt seemed to handle everything perfectly. The gun seems identical, the trigger pull is slightly heavier, but identical smoothness and clean action. Not a new nick or scratch anywhere. The gun is back in the same case along with a new owners manual (lot more complex and detailed then the original one from the 60's). I did note that the new owners manual says I can shoot +P's in my Diamondback, the only one said not to. Oh well, that is why I bought a Python. Now, as soon as Teddy finished up my Python, it will be off to the range to test everything out and then turn the Diamondback over to Teddy now that it will pass inspection. It is sure nice to get the "first one" home where she belongs!

With all the problems they've had
It's nice to see that you received good and efficient service. Hopefully, the little things like that will eventualy help them get a larger market share.
