I just saw a new pic of the newer model and it doesn't look as bad as the old pics.

You can get some better views of the differences being offered, on some models, at their new catalog website.

ive checked out the new walther p99. from what they say only the slide serrations are different and the accessory rail has been improved. the serrations they said are "improved" for better racking of the slide. i just bought one myself and i got me the "old" look pistol. it looks better for me. i dont have a problem racking the slide with the old serrations.

I updated the Walther P99 just yesterday with a new item that covers this. See: http://www.praxagora.com/lunde/Walth...Q/VIII/10.html

I much prefer the looks of the original P99. Just a matter of taste I guess!

No green/OD frames???
The new models don't look that bad. The picatinny rail does nothing for me personally, since I don't hang stuff off mine.
Guess I'll be content with my 2002 P99.

The new ones don't look that bad, but I'll stick with my older P99.

I like the old triggerguard better. The new rounded one just doesn't look right to me.
