Sigma Range Report
I have read the bad reviews on the Sigma,So my buddy and I grabbed a load of pistols and headed to the range. We had 2 Glocks,2 H&K's,2 Kimbers and a Springfield XD plus the Sigma in 9mm.We are both very good shooters with a combined 60 years of handgunning, both of us shoot competition and have a military/law enforcement background.
We shot at 15 yards using head/torso targets. The Sigma fit my hand well and was lightweight (24 oz).We fired 200 rounds thru the Sigma with no failures,We used hardball and jhp's.I have to say this pistol shoots great, always hit the point of aim and groups as well as a match grade Kimber 45.The only pistol that grouped better on this day was a Kimber 45($1000).The only con that I have is the trigger, but I am sure that after time this will improve. This Sigma cost $275 and has a stainless slide. The bottom line is this Sigma will outshoot all the big names,I had my doubts at first, and was very impressed. For someone looking a 9 or 40 automatic this is the best bang for the buck I have seen in years.GET ONE!!!!!! |

Mayhap the handgun world awakens??
My SW40F has been flawless through 400 rounds, save one!! An intentional limp wristing, which finally caused a jam!!

Shot a friend's Sigma myself. Suprised the heck out of me. Shot very well. Tough DA trigger though.
