Any experience with the Swiss made Sphinx 2000 or 3000?
I have been researching the Swiss made Sphinx 2000 and 3000. There is limited information on these pistols, but from what I have read they are superb.
I haven't been able to find any information on a dealer or distributor in the US. Has anyone fired this pistol? What do you think? How much do they cost? Heck, just tell me everything you know about these pistols! |

Well as a matter of fact I just talked to the Canadian distributer of Sphinx firearms today. Right now there isn't an American importer/distributer of the Swiss made gun. The manufacturer claims to make their guns like the Swiss make watches... not on an assembly line, by master craftsmen.
If price is an indication, then their statement must be true. They ain't cheap. I've just updated my database to include their 2000 and 3000 series models, as well as their AT380 model. Go check them out at www.genitron.com . The Canadian dealer will sell to the US. But they will only Air Freight ($) to an FFL dealer. The prices in my database are US dollars. The only Sphinx model for sale that I can find on any US website is the AT380. |
