Target shootin out in the desert
A friend & I wish to venture out into the desert somewhere in Nevada & do some target shooting. Can anyone fill me in on the law regarding this?
If we're safe, find a desolate spot many miles from nowhere, a good hillside or something to shoot into, & a few tin cans or somesuch, is anyone lible to care what we do there? (We would, of course, clean up after ourselves, save for the bullets lodged in the hillside.)

I live in Northern Nev. and there isn't any problem shooting in a safe manner, in a safe place, as long as there are no "congested area" signs. You cannot shoot from or across any State or County road, and within a certain distance of a dwelling.
If you live in Clark Co., then you'd better do some official research, they may have a different way of looking at things down there, but many shooters utilize public lands for shooting in this State. |
