Vulcan V-15?
So I was at a gun show today and ran across a Vulcan V-15 rifle, California legal and all. Fixed magazine, bleh, but what can you do its California. I was curious if anybody had experience, thoughts, input, etc. on Vulcan V-15 rifles. FWIW the model of the one I was looking at was V15-202FCA, but one won't find that listed on the website, close as I can tell. The one I was looking at, minus the vertical front grip, is here.
Price-wise it seemed like they wanted a lot, was something like $1242 with all the goodies on it - quad rail, vertical front grip, fixed carry handle I think were the ones listed. Looking on AtlanticFirearms.com, they have the CA legal for $899. Doing some cursory research those goodies don't seem to be worth $400 extra ($500 after tax). Anyway, if anybody has some experience / reviews on the V-15, good suggestions on where to buy online, cautions, CA-legal alternatives, etc., I'd appreciate it. Thanks all. |

Never shot one. However, the manufacturer, Vulcan/Hesse Arms has horrible reputation on the net.

Do a search over at http://calguns.net/6/ubb.x?a=cfrm&s=888602736 and you will find some extensive reviews of the Vulcan CA legal AR-15.
If I were to buy one of the three CA legal AR options, I would choose the one that has been around the longest, the FAB-10.
