Converting a Mak 90 to pistol grip?
What parts need to be changed out (I know I need 10 US parts) to allow the conversion of a mak 90 to pistol grip config? Also, does anyone make a buttstock with a longer length of pull then standard AK's. One thing I actually like about the mak 90 is the thumbhole has a nice LOP to it.

Kind of got that backwards.... You don't need 10 parts, it's you can't use more than 10 imported parts.
If you like the thumbhole stock why change it? From your post you'd be changing something that you like about the rifle which confuses me. Yes, K-Var sell Nato length stocks for AK's (longer than the Warsaw Pact stock length.) Also Tapco sells a T6 expanding stock that goes to Nato length. If you change all the furniture to US made stuff, that's three parts. I'm not sure of the parts count in a Mak but I believe changing the furniture and then putting a Tapco G2 fire control group in would give you enough parts to be 922 compliant. That's 6 parts, three from the FCG and three from the Furniture.
