Colt super .38 "El Toro"

I was trying to find some info on the web about the "El Toro" by Colt.
Couldn't find anything.
My Dad has one......he told me that he has #4 of 24 made.
Anyone have any info about this weapon?

I don't really have much info, but a local shop sold one on consignment a little over a year ago. IIRC... the asking price was $2k. It seemed well made, but I wasn't really taken with the slide markings and grips, but someone must have been. It didn't stay on the shelf long.
