Assuming a Spitzer design and a muzzle velocity of 3,000 ft/sec:
100-yard zero; 200 yards, 3" low, and at 300 yards, right at 12" low. Better to zero for 1.5" high at 100, zero at 200 and 7" low at 300. Art

Kirby,
Download the free Point Blank ballistics software. Besides answering questions like yours, can be plenty informative to play around with. http://www.huntingnut.com/index.php?...=article&sid=3 Its free and darned useful. |

Try this website: http://www.gunsplanet.com/reload/cart_snip_us.html#243
Bookmarked it when I was looking for 308 ballistics. |
