I have the PM9, no problems with shooting but there was a recall on the barrel so I sent in and a new barrel was sent back under 2 weeks.

I had several FTFs during the 200-round break-in, no problems at all after that. I carry +P+ ammo in mine. I can feel the extra thump in my palm when shooting that ammo, but it isn't unpleasant. Overall a reliable and easy to shoot carry gun, considering how compact it is.

I had a P9 that never worked well
I could never get through more than 3 mags without a FTF/FTE The techs were nice enough....when I could get a hold of them Not the best about returning calls.. After 3 trips back they replaced the weapon with one of their steel framed versions |

I carry a PM9. I didn't have a single failure, even during the break in period. It is very compact and accurate. The sights have a dot on the front and a white block on the rear that lines up under the dot. I think this is a little quicker for target aquisition than the typical three dot.

I have one, works really well. Sent it in for the recalls and the JHPs do feed better now.
I think some folks get good ones and some get bad ones. I don't know why it is this way but I guess it comes down to quality control. Nevertheless Kahr seems to be good about making it right. I bought my PM9 used and they never asked me if I bought it new or not when I inquired about the barrell recall or the mag release button spring that was weak. (They sent me a knew one). Since I have one that works I really like it a lot and have no regrets. I take it out for 50 rounds a year checkup and no problems. Tully Mars |
