Here they come again! - Gun ban groups to hit the streets in YOUR city August 28
http://www.cnsnews.com/ViewNation.as...20070823b.html
I'd be interested in a discussion of how to respond in ways that will make our points without letting the drive-by media paint us as wild-eyed, drooling, bloodthirsty morons. Ideas?

I would say the less attention brought to these groups the better.
Counter demonstrations will only make it a media event which would give voice to this ignorance.

I'm making it a point to buy something on the 28th, be it another gun or lots of ammo. I'll probably be at the range that day too. I really hate those goons. They also know better than to try that stupid crap where I live because they'd at best get booed out of town if not forcibly removed.

It is the height of irony, of course, and most offensive, to invoke Martin Luther King's "focus on civil rights" as they correctly described it, as an alleged foundation to campaign for an egregious violation of everyone's civil rights (to keep and bear arms), something Dr. King would surely have been against, espec. considering the racist roots of the "gun control" movement.
I think I may have to buy a gun on that day as well. |

Ah, that's good stuff! Could you dig up some of the racially motivated quotes and language of bills related to such? I gather that a lot of anti-drug policies as well were written along racist ideals as well. It seems we need to turn it around on them 180 degrees.

Hah
Not surprising to see Philadelphia on there. Too bad the gun store I go to the most is outside of Philly.

My brother and I are buying guns and ammo this month to help offset any potential losses to gun dealers. I suggest you all do the same.
