HA! I did the same thing to my new 22/45. I got frustrated and clobbered it with a hammer. Damnest gun I have come across yet. Look for the part number in the manual and call ruger.

Williams Gun Sights

I love these on my 22/45: http://www.williamsgunsight.com/gunsights/pistol.htm

I could never fully unlock the pistol's accuracy with those black square sights, but am starting to live up to my end with the Williams fiber optic sights.

Edit: If you're curious, here's what my 22/45 with the Williams Gun Sights looks like...

Call Ruger and confess. There's a reasonable chance they'll send you a new one for free.

Or you could put a Millett red dot on there instead.

How-to adjust 22/45 sights ???

I just bought a bull 22/45 mark III with adjustable sights. My other 22 is at the factory getting a new adjustable sight as my fixed sight was not right. Is this just turn the screws about a quarter turn or will I get a clicking sound. How much of a turn or how little of a turn can I make on the adjustable sights?
TIP: Cutting the cotton off a Q-tip with dikes, wire cutters, razor, etc, on an ANGLE makes for a nice pointed CARDBOARD to get into a tiny corner. Just keep cutting back to get a clean tip.
