Taurus PT945. Opinions please
A friend of a friend want to sell a PT945 and asked my opinion.
I have never fired one so will ask for those that own one to sound off. Are they reliable, accurate, easy yo care for?????? IMO, mu only impression is the pistol is too big to carry and too small compared to better shooters for other uses. What do you say? Wulfmann

I own one in .45ACP. Will sometimes FTFeed for first 100-200 rounds. Shoots low with 230gr FMJ ammo. Does not like Sellier & Bellot hard primer ammo. Not a comfortable HAND gun to shoot, so you might want to test fire before buying.
Has that goofy security lock! Unless the friend is willing to sell that Taurus cheap, I would suggest spending a few hundred $$$ more for a Glock model 30 or model 36. |

Another source would be Taurus Talk at MSN. |
