Who makes best 9mm pistols?

This is an opinion poll.

In your opinion who makes the best 9mm pistol and why?

Which model do you like in particular?

Enjoy!

Glock 17 and 19 of course! And beretta 92fs. Why, because those are the only ones I've ever got around to buying, so - they are the only ones I have any experience with. I've always wanted a Sig 226 or 229 though.

Can't vote - you don't have Walther as an option.

Since you offered a multiple choice poll, here are my Top 3, with specific models, of all the ones you listed:

1. Browning Hi-Power
2. Sig Sauer (P225, P228, P229, P226)
3. HK (P7 series, P30)

9mm

I can't decide, so I'll just list what I have:

CZ75B: great gun that I use at the range and informal club competition.
XD9SC: very reliable pistol that I usually carry.
Radom vis35: a very nice piece of history that doesn't get shot often.

I once had a Taurus PT92FS that I thought was nice but couldn't shoot worth a damn.

I'd like to have a vintage High Power but what are the chances.

I go for CZ. Glocks and Berettas are mainstream, CZ is just as good but a bit more underground. IDK, I like originality I guess

Opinions are like ...... well you know. Mine is that HK builds the best non-1911 auto pistols on the market, period.

Oh no, not another caliber poll. Any particular reason why you keep asking?

Looks to be a poll of manufacturers, not about calibers.

Depends on what you're looking for.

Dependability and toughness? Glock.

Great feel, accuracy, trigger pull? CZ75SA.

As an owner of SIG, CZ and S&W pistols, IMOO SIG makes the most accurate, reliable 9mm...but dollar for dollar S&W 3rd generation pistols are tough to beat! I would toss in CZ...but my only experience is with their .40's and not 9mm!

More CZ owners saw this thread first! Don't worry, the Glock guys will be here soon. They just haven't heard the reveille yet.

P-7, followed by G-17

Both go bang every single time I pull the trigger and shoot to POA, all with a myriad of handloads.....can't ask for more than that

I voted SIG. My P226 does everything I want...well. Except CCW; for that I EDC a Kahr PM9. hmmmm.
I didn't see Kahr in your list. (I would have voted SIG, anyway )
CZ is winning?

Browning/FN Hi-Power. Accurate, great feel to it, reliable. Have shot many different pistols, but the Hi-Power is still the 9mm I enjoy the most.

Best, I dunno.

My favorite 9mm is my G19. The P228 is a close second.
