Called Jimenez about J22 work...

They could'nt send a barrel to me due to how they cut the groove for the extractor after the barrel is put on. The Jennings isn't under warranty, so will have to pay for the barrel and other parts.
Shipping there $12? and the same back.
He figured it'd be about $35 to fix (barrel, extractor, and spring). So it looks like $59 (Fortunantly my FFL doesn't charge me on warranty shipments).
Well, now it's time to gather it up, ship it out and see how things go.

Wow... I can not even buy a barrel for any of my other guns for that. Let me know how it turns out. Would love to hear how it shoots after you get it back.

Numrich will send you a take-off barrel for $21 plus shipping. You have to fit it yourself.

But for $35 plus shipping, you get a new one with a factory fit? Not bad at all!

So it looks like $59
In all seriousness, don't they cost about twice that for the whole gun?

Be that as it may, its $59 dollars. If I had a gun that I liked just sitting there broken, even a Jennings, I think $59 dollars isnt too bad. It's around the cost of a day at the range or dinner for two.
