polishing my XD
I want to polish my XDsc, but I cant seem to find the threads on it. I know there are some here but where?

are you going to coat it after polishing it? mine has the 1st gen coating with heavy wear and sweat on it will start spots on rusting it in about a day.

i want to keep in from rusting it is the old school finish and i sweat on it and it gets surface rust

Bead blasting is the way to go I just did a used Sig GSR I picked up cheap cuz of all of the scratches and it looks factory new now, (I am very picky) the finish is perfect since the XD is not stainless you should coat it with something or it will turn to a nice shade of brown
