May be worth while to have those issues in one place.

New Forums require a reasonable chance of good traffic. While concealed carry is an important consideration, we don't believe it would carry it's weight as a stand alone Forum.

Too bad. That would be a hoot. Gets traffic on GT.

I'd use it.

General Handguns would seem to be the logical place for most CCW posts. And other topics such as CCW holsters, or legal questions, or tactics already have a place in other existing forums. I generally subscribe to a "Less Is More" philosophy. GT is positively bloated with forums. It's confusing and time consuming.

On the other hand...

The very fact that CCW issues are many and varied might point to the usefulness of a comprehensive, dedicated forum. And concealed carry is a major issue in the "discussion and advancement of responsible firearms ownership".

Food for thought. I'm undecided at this time.

I don't have a problem with General Handguns bur the Title needs to reflect it.

My way of thinking is that with more and more people getting their CCW permits, it would be a very popular topic. It's very well used at GT for comparison purposes.
