Any experience with Limcat tini finish?

I'm planning on getting a few pistols refinished soon, and I've narrowed it down to hard chrome by Metalife or black-T by Birdsong. I like the fact that hard crome is the toughest finish currently available(with the possible exception of tini), but I'd rather have a dark finish.

I located the Limcat website as I read everything I could find about refinishing after doing a search. I wasn't able to get into the website. I recall a post in which it was said that the titanium nitride finish need not be gold, but that it is possible to color it.

I would sincerely appreciate any personal experience anyone has with this company or this substance. Please do not tell me I should have bought a Glock-I am content to suffer through life with my inferior HK P-series and SIG Sauer P-series scratch magnets.
