Frosty bore

I just picked up an M48A Mauser that looks new. After decozmoing the thing, I noticed the bore is slightly "frosty" looking as compared to my commercially made center fire rifles.
I can't see any pitting, or dark spots, rifleing looks sharp and clean. How much would, should, this affect the accuracy?

Thanks for your replies.

Could be the result of firing corrosive primed ammo without immediate cleaning. As long as the muzzle rifling is not worn, effect on accuracy will be nil.

Even pitted bores have been known to shoot well. Each rifle is different and you have to shoot it to see how it does.

Could it be crome plated? for shooting military corrosive ammo?

Thanks for the replies, the muzzle is good, a bullet stops at the ojive when inserted in the muzzle. I finally got to put about 15 rounds of Turk ammo through it at 50 yds. Seems to shoot right to point of aim, and I got about a 1" group from a rickety bench.
Got a mojo apeture sight on the way. Funny when you buy an old rifle for a cheap price and still want perfection eh?
Thanks again for the info
