Does anyone know when the new Bren Ten is coming out? I understand Cor-bon owns the rights to it. Anybody heard anything?

Uh, without (hopefully) sounding smart-alecky, I believe it's called a 10mm EAA Witness...

Viper: I thought Millet had the rights? I heard last year at the Shooters' Handgun forum that they were going to have some prototypes out by end of this year. I would love to see them back in production... in 45ACP

I saw an original Bren Ten at the last gunshow I attended, priced in the $5400 range.

Yes, it is Triton who has the tooling and the pre-production version will hopefully be ready by the middle of Jan. It was on the schedule to begin production around 3rd quarter of 2001.

The only Bren 10 that might be worth close to $5400 would be a Jeff Cooper commemorative of which VERY few were made. It would have been obvious with the laser etched grips, gold enlays, and case that it comes in. $5400 would be high for it. There was a limited presentation edition with both calibers also, but it is worth less than the Cooper. Whoever had it was trying for a ripoff. I paid $800 for my used Bren 10 with two mags in the box w/papers at a Houston gun show less than two years ago and I know they haven't gone up that much.
