Let me get one thing straight here. The United States of America is
FAR from perfect. Still, you wanted to compare the relative freedoms enjoyed by a "mere civilian" in England to that of a "mere civilian" in the United States, so I gave an example (which, like many of my points, you cheerfully ignored).
