I fished for brook trout with my youngest son until bird season was halfway gone this year. As soon as the streams were off limits on Sept. 30, my knee started giving me trouble and kept on through the end of black powder deer season. My lungs also staged a series of mutinies along the way (asthma).
So I didn't hunt at all this year.
Your deer hunting story did me a lot of good. Thanks.
