The CCW is a permission slip from the government to excercise your RIGHT to carry concealed, thus relegating that RIGHT to a PRIVILEDGE.
I have no problem with felons owning weapons if they have served their time for the act. I believe that there are very few "felonies" that deserve a life-time revocation of a right, and frankly, if they have commited those types of felonies, they should not be out in public anyway.
