If you were talking semi-auto's I would have voted "yes" in a heartbeat, but I've been VERY dissapointed in the Taurus revolvers I've owned. Maybe it's just me but I've had had 2 Taurus .44mags that wore out / got so loose in somewhere around 1,000 rounds or less that I was afraid to shoot them.
Get a Ruger .44mag and it will last you a lifetime and still have plenty of life left when you hand it down to your kids.
