Ledbetter -- What was the finish like on the 1100 you are purchasing? I was in my local Wal-Mart today, and the 1100 they had was matte black and not the semi-gloss blued finish described by Dave McC's initial post. They were also apparently unaware of any $328 price, and had it listed at $369. In addition to being matte black, the vented rib on the barrel was simply flat rather than having the longitudinal grooves I've seen on other 1100's. Is the "clearance" 1100 a different animal from this one? If so, I may call around to find a Wal-Mart that has it ... Thanks.
