Anyone try lubricating a press with Molybdenum Disulfide? I know the Machine Tool Maintenance guys here use it on lathe chucks and machining center tool changer mechanisms. It might work real well, although I’m not sure about it’s corrosion resistance properties. I think there’s something about matching grain size to the surface finish of the parts being lubricated.
