glad it was figured out. i forgot to tell you the mag spring that came with the gun is going to be too long to use without using the extension. you will be putting extra compression and stress on the spring. you can use the 26" with extension for hunting,just have to use a longer mag plug. i heard a wooden dowel works fine for this.

as far as waterfowl hunting with more than 3 shots. you can here and legally only during the month of september,for canada goose. everything else is no more than 3 shells.
