Haven had much expereince with leather holsters..mainly military holsters.

Purchased a Galco Mdl CON440H for a Springfield XD-40 4". The first time I put it in it was tough..even tougher getting it out. I have let it sit awhile in the holster and seems to be getting a little bit better...Is there some customary ritual for breaking in a leather holster..this one doesnt have a thumbsnap....so I can understand it being a tad tight for retention purposes and not loose.

I have e-mailed Galco about it....

so any sage advice......
