Thanks for the kind words - it's a Winchester 1895 30-06 Model in High Grade. Winchester licensed Miroku to make 3000 in High Grade and 7000 in Grade 1 (blue receiver) in 1995 as a Centennial Replica of the original Model 95 - which, of course didn't come out with the 30-06 for some 13 years. I stumbled on this one on Guns America and bought it "new in box, unfired, with manual" - for $15.00 less than the original price - evidently owned by a collector who kept it pristine and his estate didn't share that feeling.

Actually, it ended up with my wife giving it to me last year for our 25th anniversary. All she got was this little ring and she's still convinced she got the best of the deal!! Women - gotta love'em!!



If anything, it shoots even better than it looks.
