The Taurus 92 is a very affordable solid choice,I owned the SS version and felt it was far better than 2 "real" beretta 92's that I owned. I've owned several Ruger auto's and found them accurate and reliable and built to last forever. You can't go wrong with those 2 if you plan to just use it for HD and not CC.
