Did you give consideration to used or refurbished HKP7M8?
Actually, for a grand you MIGHT be able to find one NIB!

It is a VERY FINE pistol. While you don't get high cap pistol, it is very easy to hide. Just pack two reloads.
If you need more than 25 rounds in a gunfight, shoot 24 and reserve the last one for yourself

The main reason for spare mags is to shorten delays due to magazine malfunctions, not to have more rounds.
