If by florida you mean Alaska, then I agree.

CCW--with or without a permit, your choice
Open carry--sure, you betcha
Machine guns--cool!
Destructive devices--sure, we got lots of room
Silencers--sure

AW's, .50's, pocket rockets, SNS, and all the other "guns of choice" are simply issues of style here.

of course, the climate may be a "little" more challenging than florida. Although, I should point out that it's been a loooong time since a hurricane (cyclone) hit Alaska.
