I had a P6 cop trade-in, and the DA pull was very, very stiff. I'm told that those particular guns had a heavier spring rate for the trigger for LE use, and 225s have a reputation for heavier pulls anyway.

If you think a SIG 226 is too large for concealed carry, you are mistaken. In a good IWB holser it disappears under a hoodie. It's not as slim, but if you think about it a 226 is actually the same size top-to-bottom and back-to-front as a 1911 commander. The 226 is a fantastic all-around gun. It's very accurate for range use, a good weight for carry, and a fine choice USPSA Production or IDPA SSP. The only reason I don't still have mine is that after shooting 1911s a lot my "high thumbs" grip interferes with the slide locking on an empty mag.

Edit to add: MecGar 17 round mags are $25 at most and eminently reliable.
